men vs women Are you threatened by a powerful mate?

right now i make more then hubby does but there have been years that he made more thn me. to us it doesnt matter who makes more as long as the bills are paid. we dont think about money in a sense of powerful. we think of money as in ok together we have this much so we can pay this and get this done. people that worry about who makes more or who have more are just insecure about them selves and should figure out a way to get over that instead of who has more. money is money you cant take it with you when you die.

I think it may bother some men if their mates make more than them, but in this day and age in canada anyhow I don't think it bothers many people. When I was married I made more than my husband it didn't bother us we didn't talk about who made what and why.

I have never felt threatened by my Ex in that respect only other Respects but I know he never liked me being as Independant as I was and am I am glad now that I was or I would not have survivbed when we split up He felt threatened by the fact that I have always been able to work and look after the Kids

I don't think matters all that much once you are in a relationship but I do think it influences the dating period if they can get past that then they are OK.

I think alot of men feel threatened if their woman makes more than they do. It is mainly a mans world and they feel like they have to be the leader in such things. Alot of them feel insecure if their lady makes more than they do. I don't think the importance of the job really matters, but most men can't stand it if a woman makes more money than they do. I don't think most women take the power of money to their head and use it against men. Men tend to be the dominant one when it comes to making money and showing power with it. Some women do it, but I haven't seen or heard of many of those types. Men are more used to being the bread winners in their families. I guess alot of them do feel inferior if the woman is the soul provider for them.

For me, it dosen't matter because nowadays, some of the women are smarter and more hardworking than guys. Women are getting more power in working field today and this is the fact that we cannot deny. the world is changing now, not only guys can make big money, women have the ability too. So i won't be threatened when my wife is earning more than me in future, and i will fully support her is she got chances to earn high income.
