Who's been there? Is it worth it? What did you do when traveling? I wouldn't mind going to Colorado or Utah one day, and I was just looking for anybody with experience in the Rockies or the geography of those states. Thanks.

I lived in Boulder, CO for two years. The mountain scenery is beautiful--I was amazed every day I looked up. It's definitely worth traveling there. You can stay in Boulder and then take hikes/drives through the Rockies. Rocky Mountain National Park is about 45 min drive and goes through the great town of Estes Park. If you're looking for a good hike, try this one: http://www.associatedcontent.com/article/162523/hiking_mt_sanitas_in_boulder_co.html

I've heard great things about Boulder, Colorado. I really may have to make a trip out there one of these years...

You know, I've heard people compare the rocky mountains to the grand canyon, in that it's a life-changing experience, if you allow it to be. I would love to go there. Maybe we can go together! LoL!
