Generally, as people the older we get the less sleep we need. But I would say that 6-8 hours is usually a reasonable amount of time for the body to re-energize. So with minimum of 6 hours you should be ok.

I think an adult needs 6-8 hours sleep depending upon his physical activities.A child requires much more sleep.Sufficient sleep means you are not lethargic the next day.It may vary from person to person.

A good sleep means that you feel fresh and energetic after waking up from a deep and sound sleep of 6 to eight hours.

How many hours per night should you sleep? NIH sleep experts believe you should be obtaining somewhere in the range of 7 to 8 hours of sleep a night. This figure varies considerably across the age span and from person to person. Still, if you're getting less than 6 hours of sleep per night regularly, chances are you're building up your "sleep debt," and may be compromising your health and welfare, sleep authorities contend. credits to : nih.gov

Yes, 6 hourssleep is sufficient in normal time. A good sleep is felt when one sleeps with out any disturbances, and with out any dreams.
