Has Digg.com Jumped The Shark?

Has Digg.com jumped the shark? If yes, at what point did it stop being cool? I think that it's become overloaded with super-specific tech information (like the endless discussions about Ubuntu) as well as rubber-necking tabloid articles (such as the article about the boa-constrictor that was caught on the electric-fence.)

I don't know. I am fairly new to the site. I don't think it has jumped the shark yet, but there really is a lot of content...I like the fact that almost anything can be submitted and made available to digg! But I suppose that is the cause for the supposed "glut" of articles! :)
