Does height matter in a relationship?

Women, do you feel awkward if your man is shorter than you are? How do you handle the situation? Men, do you think twice before sharing your feelings with a woman that could be your perfect mate, just because she is taller than you? I myself am very fond of this girl who is slightly taller that I am. I do feel uncomfortable especially when she wears high-heels which heighten the difference in our heights. I don't feel like telling her outright, but she doesn't seem to realize it on her own either!

I could never seriously date a man who is shorter than me. I am 5'7" and if I date a man shorter than I am, I feel like I am dating a little boy. I know that isn't fair, but that is my reality. I like to wear heels and I like tall heels. In my tallest pair I am 6'1". My husband is 6 feet tall. If he was any shorter, I would never have even been interested in him. I have always dated really tall men. I like the difference in height. I prefer men that are 6'4" or taller, but I really liked ,y husband as a friend so I continued to date him and then one day we got married. :)

To be honest I've had a couple of boyfriends who were about the same height as me (5'5") and I must admit I've felt uncomfortable going out with them when I have high heels on. I don't know why but for me towering over your boyfriend is not the most endearing thing and makes you feel silly. I love shoes and high heels are my favourite so not wearing high heels again because of a boyfriend is a total no no i'm afraid lol!

i guess height matter, i've dated a man shorter than me before and believe me its not comfortable as i've notice than almost all eyes are on us and they talking about how taller i am than him, I've overheard one girl commenting "looks awful". thats why i told myself i'll never go out again with a man shorter than me lol.
