children's collecting

My oldest collects boxes, silly I know! Shoe boxes, boxes packages come in ect! He makes them into things. My 5 year old collects rocks too. There are some in his room in a container and the rest have to stay outside. My youngest dont collect anything yet!

When Heather was younger she collected the Ty beanie buddies. Now she collects hing boxes or little trinket boxes. I did not realize that some of these little boxes are worth a lot of money. The also collects anything to do with dragons. My family all collect something. I collect barbie, and her dad collects star trek. My mom collects Elvis memoribelia. Collecting things is something everyone does not just kids.

Oh I remember all the 'cherished possessions' that my children had while growing up! Two of my children collected postage stamps for the longest. Two collected baseball cards. Funny that none of them continue to collect anything today.

when my kids were younger and beanie babys were in, they collected them, then they collected pez's (they still get them sometimes when we see a cool one) and now my teenager collects Chinese things for her room and my younger daughter collects monkeys (they are 10 & 13)

My daughter collects post cards too. It is fun to put them in a photo album when we get home. She gets them every where we go when traveling. They are better then pictures we take and it is a good reminder of what we did. She has gotten a good number of them and filled a few books.

I have three kids and they all collect something different. My 10 year old stepson collects: Baseball cards, football cards, and Yu-Gi-Oh cards. My 4 year old son collects: Anything related to Firetrucks and firefighters My 3 year old Daughter collects: Carebears, My little pony, cabbage patch dolls
