tax time!

i made a promise to myself to limit my time on myLot so that I could devote time to tax prep! but as you all fellow addicts to myLot know, this site is so addictive! i told myself that i would only do a max of two posts, and what happens? i spend most of the day surfing myLot reading all my friends' posts and responding to some and of course, no day is complete without checking out the jokes! so how do you other myLotters cope with this? or are you all so organized and on top of things that you did your taxes way back at the end of February?!!! do you find that your promises to use your time wisely (to do chores, to prepare your tax return, to do laundry, etc., etc.,) fade like a cheap t-shirt once you get on myLot???!!!

My mother, step-father, grandfather, and I have a deal with one accountant that he does all of our taxes for a flat fee. This has been going on for years now, so I don't even need to look at my tax stuff. All I need to do is hand it in to my accountant, and let him deal with it. That way I can spend all the time I want on MyLot. LOL

Thank you. Mom and Dad used to have a deal with him, but they divorced and Dad moved to another town. Mom got the deal back with husband number 2, and then when I became old enough to do taxes, I went in on it, and now my grandfather in a retirement home is included with us too. My sister was never in on it because by the time she was married and old enough, she lived in another city, and didn't do business in Guelph with us.
