what have you done for mankind lately, the greatest gift you have given

do anything special lately, to help those who needed it most. food donations?, volunteer work?,drive someone to a hospital?, save a life?, help an aged person with their groceries? or just pass on a smile

I recently donated some food to a young family that needed it. I also went through my clothes and donated some of them too.

i run into people all the time who are in need, just the other day a gentleman came to me to have his van repaired. it was serveing as a home for his children and wife as his home had been destroyed by fire, his story was so heart rendering it made me feel bad for what i have. i offered to do the repairs for free but he declined, a very proud parent, he would not accept a freebie, so instead i offered my friendship.

I must say, i havnt done anything in a long while. I like to think im giving happyingess, as at work i strive to cheer anyone up where i work. I know im just the till girl, but its amaizing what a freindly smile and a quick ear can do some someone and the rest of their day.. knowing a total stranger wantingly took interest in their life and emotions. I love my customers at work and i will listen to anything they got to say, even if its just getting it off their chest :)
