Would you raise your child anywhere else?

We have been considering buying a boat and raising our child in Costa Rica or the Carribean because we are afraid of raising her in America. Would you do this or do you think it's complete lunatic talk?

I would love to raise my child in Wyoming or Montana. It is beautiful there, and there aren't alot of people in some places. Find an open space and plop down and just live life to the fullest. I don't think it's lunatic talk. I commend you for wanted better for your child.

Thanks. I just see that her life could be a lot different than my life growing up here. I see all different places and potentials of places where we could take her and raise her to be more understanding of other cultures and people. That is all really. Plus her dad's a good sailor. :)

Why are you so afraid of raising your child in America? Any place you move to could be dangerous some more than others granted. There is a lot of human trafficking going on in the world also. I suggest you pray and ask God to direct you in what to do. I understand your concerns. God Bless
