how many kids do you have?

i have one son and im getting my tubes tied next month..i wanna know how many kids you have and are you fixed? ive been told that i should have another kid, but i dont want another kid nor can i afford another kid i think one child is enough. what are your thoughts?

I have three kids, two that still live at home. I am young and would love to have more kids but when I had my third baby, my insides ruptured and I was advised that it wouldn't be wise to have more. I had the surgery and here I am 15 years later wanting more children that I can't have. I have a grandson that is out of this world, and he keeps me on my toes.But, when his mommy takes him home, it breaks my heart. If i were you, I would wait before getting fixed, make sure before you do it.

yes ive been told to wait i am only 25 but im not a kid person i have 1 and hes my life. i feel that with him i can afford to get him whatever he needs or wants. with 2 children it will be double i do feel bad in a sense that he wont have anyone to grow up with but he has lots of close cousions and he can make friends. thats just how i feel about it. i do have another month before getting this done so maybe we will change our minds but i doubt it.

Good luck on your decision. It is a tough one to make.Just make sure that is what you want and what you feel is best for you. I am only 37 and like I said, I wish I could have more children.

Well if you feel financially and emotionally u can't have another then don't let others effect your decision, just say well r u going to pay for this baby and take care of it when i need? I have 3 kids 2 boys and 1 girl and i want one more but my husband doesn't. So i tell him well i'm not using birth control because each time i have it's affected me in some way physically. so i know tubal ligations have effects so since it's so permanent i'm not gonna get it done. so i said if u don't want no more then u're gonna have to get fixed. so he agreed, but when he's able to have time off.

u're obviously not sure if u're asking others, y don't u get something less permanent like the 10 yr. i.u.d., u can take it out anytime, it doesn't give off hormones and after 10 yrs. if u don't want to have more kids and r sure then take it out and get ur tubes tied.

I have 7 kids. Ages are from 16 months -15 years! I would not trade them for anything in the world! When I was a teen I was never having any kids, could not stand them! Then I decided on 1, then after her I though ok maybe 2 more. Well here I am with 7 and due to health issues and some personal problems I am done now for sure. But they are awesome to have, each is so unique and I would be missing so much had i stopped sooner. I am not saying you should have more, thats a very personal decision, but think hard before hand. I almost had mine tied and backed out last minute, Thank God! If your a praying person i would pray hard first, you never know what the future will bring, you may change your mind.
