I have always believed that a child in sports is so much better off then one not in sports. Sports teach kids discipline, and character. Sports teach kids how to respect someone, such as their coach. Does everyone agree with me that kids who play sports are better off.

Yes and no actually. Some kids play sports because they really love it. And others like myself play sports because their fathers make them. I used to love to play baseball I lost my interest about a year back. My dad doesn't understand because he loves watching me play. So I don't really want to upset him because that upsets me. So when your forced to play no but when its love for the game yes!

good thing about sports is that it develops values such as perseverance and determination, but it doesnt teach much discipline. sometimes in sports, kids get big egos too, just like some sports stars. they learn to trash talk and humiliate others too. but when they're guided properly, they could be persons of good character, and they could bring it on until they grow up
