Would you use myLot if it didn't reward you monetarily?

It is my sincere hope that this post does not get deleted, as I am genuinely interested in what you, the reader, have to say about this.
Let's face it, there are thousands upon thousands of bulletin boards out there, catering to thousands upon thousands of communities (i.e., interest groups). With that said, would you come here to discuss any given topic--for the sake of simplicity, let's say movies--rather than going to a competitor's website if you weren't being compensated monetarily for coming to and using this one?
Again, I am merely curious and not trying to take anything away from myLot.

Probably not. I'm a member of several other message boards now, and those are just regular places and I don't have the time to post on them much. Mylot has a great motivator-cash. I come here and post because I know that by posting and creating discussions, I'm adding to the community and I'm earning a bit of money too. I know the money isn't great, but why spend countless hours online for free when you can get paid for it? Something is better than nothing.

Haha! Cash certainly does motivate, doesn't it? In my line of work, we like to call them incentives. :)

That's what I thought. I wonder if myLot will continue to reward its users in such a way. I'd love to know how much they're paying out, on average, each month.

First let me tell you that its not because of the money that i oined mylot , (still dont ask me to give away the $9 that i have earned,LOL). I joined it because one of my friend told me its fun and its sure is , i love friends like you all helping each other , and how can i know so many people from so many different countries without mylot.

Yes I would still come here. Actually this is the only forum group that I belong to. I haven't found any others that I like. There seem to be a lot of nice people on here and I have recieved some really good advice. I look at it that the money is just an added bonus.
