Oh my God!!! Guess what!?!

My husband came home from work today and instantly started in on me about being distant. Well, I'd had it and I told him..."Look, you just got home, can I have 10 minutes before you start nagging me?"
Well, he must have changed a little over the last two years because he then stated that if I didn't want to be in a relationship with him, that I needed to say so. So, I SAID SO!! I also told him about all my fears about him being an a$$ and running off with the kids and that is the reason why I hadn't said something earlier....He agreed that he wouldn't do it again and that we would try our best to get along for the childrens sake and that we would share them.
I about dropped the frying pan I was cooking with! I can't believe it was just that easy. And now it's done! I'm so amazed. Now, I just HOPE AND PRAY that he doesn't revert back to his old ways!!!
I feel so relieved!! And I think that I'm actually a little happy. Does that sound horrible or what? I'm happy to be getting a divorce! There's something wrong with me! I don't care though. Marriage HAS to be better than this, life has to be better than this. I think this has taken a huge load off of everyone's shoulders, including the kids! We told the kids that he would be moving out and they are taking it surprisingly well (I think they seen it coming)! I'm so happy...
Thank you all for your kind words and support on my other discussion! I really appreciate it. I was feeling like I was losing my mind and just going crazy and the responses really helped me put the situation "in order" so I could figure out what was best. Thank you all so much! HUGS!!!

awww hunni, that's so wonderful, I'm so happy that you get to start your life in many ways again, it all works out the way it's supposed to, i always say this, and i always mean it, it does, and once it's all over, your going to feel a million times better than you even do now, oh I'm happy for you, you go girl, Here's to getting a back bone and standing up for yourself, your children and your life!

And hey, while your at it, here's a movie you should get, if you can't get it i might be able to send it to you over the net, not sure, but if you can find the movie 'the secret' it'll help you out with starting your new life and making it better than ever before sooo easily.

WOW, I am amazed by you. You are a very strong woman and I commend you. I am glad that you finally feel a bit of happiness, I am sure you deserve it. There are just some people, that no matter how hard you try, you just can't get along with. He must be one of them. It sounds like you both will be better off in the end. I wish you well both with your children and your future. You deserve a happy, fulfilling life.

I am happy that you have finally been able to get it off your chest. I hope you will be happy with the decision you are making. I am sure the children could see this coming if you two were never getting along. Good luck with everything.

Steph Sweetie I am so happy for you and it is the best Solution as you will only ruin your Life. I am glad he sees sense more then what my Ex did
He put me through hell even though he knew how sick I was and how many bad attacks he caused and I think if it was not for my Kids using their common Sense in sorting me out with these attacks I would not be here today as it would have killed me
My Daughter was 14 my Son 17 and he was working away from Home so she had a lot to deal with including telling her once not to help me that I just wanted to die, that I wanted it over with and no more Pain. She ran to my Friends and they came over and sorted me
So I am so happy for you that this is going smooth so far and I hope and Pray that it stays this way

Well, I guess I should say good for you. I am glad that things are working out for you. I have been thru a divorce (although with no kids) and it was hard, but it was also for the best. I don't think you're horrible for being happy. When you are in such an unhappy place in your life, change is good. Any sort of change even if that means a major upheaval such as a divorce.
