Mineral make up questions

I am really interested in getting Bare Escentuals But I have several questions....
1- does it work as well as they say on the commercials?
2- Is it worth the money?
3- Does it last? How long does a two month supply last? (I use makeup rarely but if it is as good and quick as the commercials I would use it more often)
4- Does anyone know of a place that has mineral make up that is as high quality but not so expensive?
I appreciate any help you can give me. Thanks

I don't know a lot about this particular make-up, but there is another member on here that can give you quality information on mineral and make-up. I've always thought they looked facinating too, but haven't tried them. Avon has their version also...maybe they are cheaper and you try them instead?
