Calling all Twizzler Lovers?

I took a trip with about 20 people. Everyone agreed to fill there suitcase with a certain amount of goodies! The main one being Licorice; Twizzlers to be exact. Nobody said what kind to get,we all just agreed licorice would be an important goodie to buy. When we got to our denstination and unloaded the goodies to our surprise we had equal amounts of Red Licorice and Black Licorice! As equal as the licorice was; so was the people who love it. Well except for me, I was a middle man; I couldn't decide which one I love the best. That could be why my suitcase had equal packages of Black and Red! If I am eating red then I love red the best. If I am eating black then at that moment of love black the best. If you are a Twizzler lover which one do you love the best. Black Twizzlers verses Red Twizzlers! Twizzler lovers take your pick!

I did not use to like black licorice at all, but as I have aged it really is a delightful flavor to me. I would choose black twizzlers over the red twizzlers, I never cared for red twizzlers even when I did not like the black.

(rereading this post has me craving it too!) I have had some twizzlers recently, though, it was not licorice. They were tropical sours or some odd thing - my son bought them, they were quite fruity and good.

Just going over old posts and realized I have been here on myLot for a year. It sure did go by quickly. Ready this post as made me crave licorise so I think I will have to buy some when I go shopping this afternoon. Have you had any licorise lately?

I hate black licorice with a passion , so I would definitely choose the red Twizzlers. Mind if I was going to to go by a suitcase full of goodies , I would buy chocolate bars.

Can you believe it I have been on here a year. I was looking over old posts and see that this one says one year ago. There must be more but this is the first one. It sure did speed by. Black licorice are my favorite licorice still but the red twizzlers are great too. I am actually addicted to both. Have you eaten any licorice lately?

i cant stand black licorice! yuck lol! i dont really like the regular Twizzlers but i do LOVE those Pull and Peel Twizzlers. i think its supposed to be strawberry or cherry flavor. i just like my licorice softer.

Hi I am going over old posts. I just love licorise and had to make a comment. Thinking also what a shame I negelected this discussion way back when I started it. The funny think about my love for licorise is that if I get on a black licorise kick for a long time I start to eat the red and think why did I think I loved the black ones so much, red is much better and then when I am on a red licorise kick and back to the black I think why was I thinking red was so much better when black is just so much better. I have not had licorise for awhile and now finding this post as given me a craving. I am going shopping soon so I will have to buy some. It will have to be both colors that I buy. Are you still enjoying the Pull and Peel Twizzlers?

As you said, I like whichever one I am eating better at the time. I find the red licorice to not be as strong as the black one. However, the black licorice has such a specific taste and nothing compares to it. Now, they have chocolate Twizzlers out. Have you tried them? I have but I wasn't really impressed with them. I have a friend who loves them though.
