What is your favourite mode of attack ?

There are 3 modes of attack in the massive online game RUNESCAPE, the 3 modes are Ranged, Melee and Magic.
I personally love ranging, One can not hit more than 24 in spite of having a mind blowing 99 skill level of ranging. But i still prefer ranging because it is simple and flexible, there are lots of bows available for members which can hit really good shots. For example the crystal bow which can work without ammo.
I like melee also beacuse it makes u grow stronger in combat levels and hit hard without investing on arrows or runes. All u need is some food.
Though melee is exciting. I bet most of the people use either ranging or magic to kill higher level demons. For example quests like lost city and monkey mandess generally makes players use a bow or runes to kill the jungle demon. So i feel that a player must have a side skill of either Ranging or Magic in order to be sound all the times in all conditions.

I like magic the most, not only it is the most exciting skill but also it grows your magic level higher and magic is also very good as a regular skill (not a combat one) so I actually benefit leveling magic more than range\melee skills.
Unfortunatly the magic skill wastes A-L-O-T of runes, which cost alot of money so the outcome is a hole in the pocket unless like me you have a stronger, higher level character which gets the runes for the weaker mage one. That way i'm not wasting money because i found these runes AND i get magic levels :D

Melee because I'm a pure str guy. I just love pking with the str.

yeah san i think you are right, but then when have u been wrong, u've been the best noob on runescape:p.I personally prefer to train both ranging and mage in addition to melee, because that gives ur character the power to owna nyone in wildy, supposing ur a melee, a mage can own u, same way a range can own a mage and a melee a range.So if u have all the skills good, then u can own anyone(remember....don't use the same skill ur opponent uses, us the one that owns him).....hapy mylotting everyone

I'm partial to magic but man, do I run out of money relatively quickly buying certain runes.
I can't even remember what level I'm on in general or certain things since it's been so long since I last played.

im lvl 81 and im pretty well balanced in melee...i do sum magic and magic is really good because if ur a member u can use ancients which r really powerful. i never got into ranging because i just didnt like it...

LOst city obviously mage it with little wind bolt lol.
My mage is 40 :)
So no problem there.
