Is computer based education a setback to core engineering?

Today, students are interested in IT jobs due to high salaries.This has grt impact on core engineeering.

ya,i can feel d world goes through dat way,nowadays all engineering is based on computer

The Core Engineering is not at all affected. But many non IT people go into IT jobs. The core companies are not in need of that much bulk of engineers for their operations. So IT is creating job offers for many.
