Do you think of God only when you're in trouble? or none at all?

WE are in serious trouble, and we do not seem to be able to get out of it any time soon. This is the realistic view. But it is altogether too human and limited, for it forgets an important dimension: There is God in our life and in the life of our country. We are reminded that "there are always some people – sometimes even in positions of authority – who are troubled." But they are troubled because they do not believe in God and they count on their efforts alone. The obvious way to get out of trouble is: To "carry on working" (and) not to worry; to seek the Lord (who) will triumph." We should always be convinced that God never abandons us, and this is the source of our confidence and joy. It is completely up to us never to allow him to go far from us. If we do and if we choose to disregard and forget him, then this would be the source of our sorrow and loss of hope. In this regard, life is that simple. There is no need to make it more complicated, especially in the light of the serious trouble we seem to be permanently in. Agree? or disagree?

I agree for the most part. I think it's common for people to not think about God as much until they need Him. That's why it's important to have a relationship with Him through praying regularly. It is also our nature to turn to God when we need help, and He wants us to do that. Faith can see people through the hardest times, and I think it's important to fellowship with other believers and study the Bible as well, IMO, to keep faith strong.

I think of GOd all the time, each part of the day. I just say little prayers to him when I ask for guidance coz it good to live with God day after day and not only to remeber him when we need him.

i can't blame people why they only think of God when they have problems. I guess they have problems because they forgot about God. If only we rely and trust everything to Him, there's no reason at all why we should be troubled. There are a lot of inspiring words from the bible that would give us encouragement to in constant communion with Him. He has assured us, if only you believe in Him, true salvation and happiness. Find time to meditate and ask God to rule your life, and allow Him to control and guide you, for sure you will get to your destination (let His will be done).
