I've been reading a lot lately about writingup. It seems really like a good site because it pays it members 50/50 revenue. The only thing is I can't go through on the signing up page! Urrghhh.... I didn't received a confirmation email from the site! I really wanted to join. Seems like these site has been down since last year.. I guessed. I've stumbled through a blog about writingup here and others who've signed up for membership haven't recieved theri confirmation emails too. So I am not alone. It is a free membership. Anyone here on writingup?

How good can a writing site be if it is always having problems? This sounds like a lot of trouble to me, even if you could register and get in. There are other writing sites like Gather, Associated Content, Constant Content, and probably a lot more than I even know of. I think you should stick with sites that work properly. If they allow mistakes to come to the forefront of their site this often, how bad must it be behind the scenes?

I gave up on Gather because it's so loaded with stuff I'm not interested in reading, but at least it's well maintained. And it's a huge site, much bigger than Writingup, as far as I can tell. I think if you're not prepared to do what's necessary to maintain a site, you shouldn't hook people into it.

Yeah that;s is the problem. I've also have been signed in to different blogging sites, and also do research about these blogging sites on how their members like the site. I've read some blogging sites which really doesnt work for those bloggers hoping to earn more money through blogging ( I wont mention these blogging sites here) What I've done now is join another blog site which I've been reading about HElium, It is said that these site pays its members $5 blogging for businessess and products. I hope my blog would be accepted. I think these is better than writingup which is always down(^-^)

I posted a discussion about this a few weeks ago--same problem. I finally gave up. Registration doesn't complete, they don't repond to a request for help. If they don't want new members, you'd think they would put a notice up on the site. The last time I looked, people were still posting new material, so I guess it's still going. I don't know what their problem is.
