Anybody making money Helium or AC?

Hey I just joined Helium and Associated Contents yesterday. I was wondering if anybody has made any money doing these. I have posted a few articles with both. How long does it take before you make any money on your articles? How exactly do you make money with these websites? Do you prefer one site over the other?
If you have not signed up with these, they seem to have a lot of great potential. If you would like the links please let me know and I will post them. I'm not good at getting referrals and I would like to know who it feels for once to actually have a referral!

Helium hmm got the idea must be place for writers to submit their views and articles right? Well i have seen some posts that people are making money from Associated Content but dont know much about Helium, so does it allow international members to participate in it or its just like AC aswell? Only paying via paypal?If Helium pays via e-gold i'll join under you as AC dont so cant join that one.

I already heard about these two here on mylot also but I haven't checked on it because based on that specific discussions international members are not really accepted. I heard that some are already earning from these sites. Better checked the discussions under make extra money home. I believe somebody mentioned about these two just days ago and you might want to contact that person who's already earning from these.

Helium is running a contest now.there are around 500 topics and you can write in any topic.the members will rate your article and depending upon the number of articles and your rank they are giving out prizes from 300,200,200,20 and 5 dollars.i am writing for helium and within two weeks by participating in the contest i have earned around 22 dollars.

I have earned while working on Associated Contents. Associated Contents is a site, where you can post your write-ups, articles and peoms. You are paid on the basis of page viewed by the other readers. The minimim pay out is $ 1.5, on every 1000 page viewed by others. I write on Associated Contents and I enjoy working on it.

I've never heard of Helium, but I have heard lots of great things about Associated Content. There was someone on here a few days ago that said that they were making a great income from A/C. I think they said that they were posting about 6-8 articles a day and they were making pretty good money from it.
I keep meaning to check it out, but just haven't done so ...yet. Maybe before the weekend is over I'll get to it.

I've made more money on Associated Content, but you have to wait awhile before they review your articles and make you an offer. Recently it seems it's nearly two weeks. Then you have to wait another week or so to get paid, so it's not a quick turnaround, but they offer much better payment than Helium. However, I find that those articles are a lot more work, too. With Helium, I usually just write from what I know, so it's a different kind of writing and your money grows slowly over time, like MyLot.
