Mine is Dark Brown color. It's common color among Asian. Well I did a search in internet and it saids, brown eye color is very predominant, and in many population, it is the only iris color present. There is also interesting facts that caucasian baby will have their iris color changed. We are asian, and we are not familiar with this fact. They will change from their blue eyes to green, light blue, light brown and dark brown as they grow older. What is the color of your eye? Brown, blue, green, grey, violet, hazel, amber and yellor?

My eyes are an unusual colour. They are mostly dark green with a bit of grey and amber in them. When I was seven years old the class I was in was doing a project called 'Myself'. Everyone except me knew what colour eyes they had. My teacher was unsure however much she looked. In the end she decided green was the best way to describe them. When I am in an Asian or African country if anyone sees my eyes they comment on them. I have found this happen in Tunisia and Indonesia most of all. I guess it is because the people that live there have brown eyes. Yes, caucasian babies are all born with blue eyes. My son's eyes changed over a period of time to hazel. My neice is four years old and her eyes are an unusual colour like mine. I find it difficult to see waht colour they are.

Ya, Asian country and africa has a common brown black eye color. We have never known that eye color would change. Probably the pigment will becomes lighter when we grow older. Thanks for telling us more about caucasian babies's eye color. Interesting! :p

I guess it is due to the heavy sunlight in tropical country. Darker pigment helps to absorb lights.

Good observation. I only thought sunlight will change the size the iris (like kitty does), I don't know the iris color change. I should try!

I happen to have a dark brown eye color. So the brown eye color happens to be predominant aye? My eyes have been dark brown all my life(I guess) but my dad happens to have blue eyes, and so does my uncle. LOL Well that was irrelevant.

Hi Serena_wai, My eyes are a very light green. Almost a sage or seafoam green. Because they are such a light color, I'm very sensitive to sunlight. The more pigmentation in the iris the greater the tolerance to sunlight ... or so I've been told. I don't know whether mine were blue at birth or not. All of my siblings have blue eyes. My mother's eyes were blue, and my father's were green. So, I guess I got Dad's eyes.

Well, all Caucasian babies are born with blue eyes. As the days progress, you will be able to see their real color. When you get a lot older your eyes can change slightly. I have blue eyes. So does my mom, dad, and sister.

For some reason my sister always wanted green eyes. So for like a year she wore green contacts. She looked weird, because the green was like forest green. She just looked very different.

I have to confess... I just went to the mirror so that I can answer your question better. I never really look that closely at my eyes lol... Ok, I confess. It's black. Though I can't say for sure if it might actually be dark blue. And you said brown is common? And you never once mentioned black... how strange. Does being crazy change your eye color? :P

My eyes are brown, though they have a bit of green to them when I am tired or have been crying. They were very dark brown when I was young, but have gotten lighter over time.
