My friends, did you know that one should always drink water irrespective of thirst.I read in a health magazine thatthirst is a sign that our body gives when it requires water & there is deficiency in body. One should ensure regular intack of water to avoid any damage to our body. Many diseases like stone & other problem occur due to lack of water intake.Body requires more than 5 ltrs of water in summer specially in troplical countries.

i drink about 4 litres or more of water because i know that water is a essential ssupplement for the body and we are a tropical country. so we really need to take a lot of water especially on the summer season. we can survive without food but we can't without water. i drink water almost every minute or so. my water intake is very very good maybe that's why i don't have any diseases or sickness in my body.

I KNOW I dont drink as much as I should. Last summer I was drinking LOTS and LOTS of lemonaid which is a good soure of water. I do drink it during tap dance and yoga. I drink it before bed, during the night. I drink it with my meals sometimes. I drink it but not like I should. Talk to my sis she drinks it day and night. I am SURE she does fine with her water intake unlike me :p

I used to drink lots of water. When I wake up in the morning -- I used to drink - 3 glasses of ordinary water -- not cold water without even doing brush - My friend told me to do this -- His sister had many pimples on her face and the doctor advised her to do that and her pimples were gone. I was also having many pimples on my face and he advised me to do that and now -- my face is so clean -- all pimples gone but I have not left drinking water now -- It's really good for health. We will not know but many of our diseases will get cured simply by drinking plenty of water.

My friends also tell me that water therapy really works for pimples. I used to have pimples every week. One pimple will appear today and when it's gone another one grows again. So when I tell my friends about it, they suggested that I should drink lots of water. And it actually did work.

I normally only drink water with an pccasional cup of coffee when I have a bad headache. There are many benefits of drinking water.Nearly every function of the body is monitored and pegged to the efficient flow of water through our system. Water transports hormones, chemical messengers, and nutrients to vital organs of the body. When we don't keep our bodies well hydrated, they may react with a variety of signals… some of which, we would never think related to our poor drinking habits.

I know this, but I usually don't follow it. The tap water here is less than trustworthy, and I hate most bottled water with a passion. It tastes so gross it's not funny. If it's pure water it should be flavourless, not taste like you dumped a half a cup of bleach in it. That and it's far too expensive. But I've not yet had any of the problems supposedly associated with dehydration. Though I do drink a good deal of green tea and that may well be the reason for it.

I try to drink more but often end up having it just when I'm thirsty. I drink water almost exclusively with an occasional glass of juice or tea...no soda or coffee.

Right now, I am experimenting on the good impact of drinking just plain water. No colored drinks like juice or tea. I decided to go on this way for at least a month or two. Just over a week of my experiment I feel better now than I did when I will have an occasional tea or fruit shakes to quench my thirst. Another thing is that I am beginning to dislike the thought of drinking sweet drinks when I feel thirsty. I only crave for water now. After I go to the toilet to pee, I always try to replenish water in my body by drinking another glass.

I also make a conscious effor to drink as much water as i can. I also prefer not to get thirsty at all and drink ample amount of water before that stage comes. Water is really helpful to our body, it cures a lot of diases in our body. Its the best medicine and is available to everyone.

I agree. We should always drink lots of water especially for us who live in tropical countries because we might suffer from heat stroke and dehydration. I'm from the Philippines and it's summer here and I always feel thirsty. I mean ALWAYS, that's why I make it a point to drink at least 4 liters of water.
