I have an uncle. He is a very nice guy, the only problem is he is very short tempered. Once I remember we were driving on the highway, a guy cutted him off. He was so pissed, he started tailing him, flashing his lights at the car and even drove in front of the car and stepped on the brakes. I was in the car so was his family. Scary.

Your like my brother. Very calm and relaxed. But, if people like that get pissed off, there is no stopping them. I know because i grew up with him and I would pick on him, when he is pissed, he'll start kicking the crap out of me.

Wow! I think your uncle is worst than mine. I haven't seen my uncle do that it. and I hope not, either.

Oh my! That would be very scary!!!! No, I am not short tempered. I often walk away when I get angry or upset because I do not like arguing or fighting. Yes, I do get upset at stupid drivers...but I would never tail them or slam on my brakes. That is just asking for an accident. And my family in the car is not worth it! Let along the damage to the car and the time we would be without a car! We can not afford to be without a car!

My dad is this way. He is short tempered from timeto time. I can be if I am pushed to hard.

I also have an uncle like yours. I actually know quite a few people like that. While most angry people are short temper... those two emotions are different. Angry people are unhappy people. They only see what is bad in the world and it makes them angry 24/7. It is hard not to be angry these days... as wether you watch the news on television or read the newspaper... everything is bad news. Good news is very rarely reported or talk about. As a result... most people are angry to some various degree. You could almost say that if a person is never angry... that person does not care about other people problems... or that person lives in its own little world... oblivious to the rest of the world. But short temper is another thing. It is a lack of tolerance for stupidity. And as most people are also stupid to various degrees... if you have no tolerance for stupidity... the fact that you have to deal with it 24/7 will make you short temper. If you are on the road in peak hour traffic trying to go from A to B for an appointment and running late... you will forgive the first driver cutting you off... you will start getting angry when a second driver does something wrong. But by the time a third driver does something stupid... it will translate into road rage. Road rage is a fairly new disease. It came into existence due to the number of cars on the road... which create congestion and frustration. People get arrested and punished for road rage... while the real culprit is the government who has not done the job of providing the right amount of roads for its increasing population.

It takes a lot to make me mad. But when I am to the point of being so mad that I am crying, get out of my way because I don't remember what I do. My adult son and I got into a fight and he had me to the point I was in tears. Next thing I knew, he was standing there with blood running out of his nose. I had hit him and didn't even realize it. I broke his nose. Needless to say, if I feel myself getting that angry, I leave. Go for a walk or something until I calm down. I don't want a repeat of that.
