considering that insomnia is a harrassment for the afflicted and also for their partners....what irks you the most...is it their getting up in the night o.........or is it their consuming plenty of pills effortlessly........or is it their horrible day schedule gone awry due to their insufficient sleep...what is the worst nightmare an affected person can have and what is the partners' worst nightmare............

Well, the worst thing about insomnia is that lack of sleep takes away our alertness and to some extent even affects our efficiency. When our mind and body doesn't get the required amount of rest ,it's hard to expect your body and mind to respond at work and over the long run it causes trauma and stress.

That you get to think of things that is not worth thinking. Like problems, what will happen tomorrow, what if like this, what if like that....

The worst thing about insomnia is that I'm always exhausted and lacking energy to do what I have to do. I don't take pills for it, I just sit here like I am now, typing away at 4:30 am hoping that I will be able to go to sleep soon.

Well, what I really hate when I have insomnia, like the other night, is when I want to sleep and to take some rest yet I cannot go to sleep. It's like my consciousness does not want to take a rest too. I feel so awake and alive even though during the day I reaaly had lots of work to do. I want to sleep and feel the peace of the night, but I just couldn't. I'd want to talk to someone so that at least I know I am accompanied, but there is always no one there. THEY ARE ALL ASLEEP ALREADY.....mmmmmmm
