Did you beat the April 16 deadline?

I hate to fall in line much i hate a "foto finish". I filed my ITR on Friday the 13th hoping some luck afterwards.

Here in Australia our financial year ends on the 30th June .... then we have till the 31st October to submit our tax returns. Our accountant always gets an extension for us if we are too busy to get everything to him in time. Sometimes I am away for the entire week truck driving ... and for July and August he is open on Saturday mornings as well as during the Monday-Friday working week ... but the last thing I want to do is be talking to an accountant. So it generally waits till around December when I get a week or so off. Not sure what other countries are due to file their income tax returns in April ... think the USA might be one of them but definately not Australia.
