why do we study calculus?

calculus has no use in my job, why is it included in the subject in college

Maybe it doesn't have use in your job but you can always add it in conversation while saying why you are better than someone, lol.

Because everyone definitely NEEDS to know that the lim of 1/x as n-infinity is 0 lol. Well...maybe you'll someday need to find the area under some random curve :P
