Do you always give a best response?

April 16, 2007 2:46pm CST
I have to admit that i'm quite crap at such things, i let my discussions discuss away and nearly always forget to give a best response, but i've decided i'm going to change and go through my old unresolved ones (and theres a lot of them) and actually choose a best response. Does anyone else forget to give their best responses

not always. in fact, most of the time I don't. there's been quite afew occasions where I have had lots of really really good answers, and could't have picked anyone out as best from it.

Its not a matter of forgetting for me...it is a matter of procrastination. LOL I drag my butt when it comes to having to pick best response. Now, if they changed it and allowed best response per page of responses...it would be a lot easier! But to pick a best response...I sometimes fear that I am going to hurt someone feelings because there are normally a couple that I am struggling with which one to give it to.

Guilty as charged, because I don't like to give a best response too soon, to give people a a chance to reply, I never like to give a best response early certainly not on the same day, and so I start to forget about them and suddenly I have pages of them, ooops! I must try and sort them, like er soon! Thanks for the reminder.

I don't really forget to give out the best response, I just sometimes don't give them out right away. I know that I will give them out, when I get around to it. They aren't forgotten.

Personally I find it quite hard to know what the best time to give best responses is, since the discussions I've started are on going, so what if you mark one comment as best response, only to change your mind when someone else posts something even better. It's a bit of a difficult decision and like you I sometimes forget or I leave it a long time and then go back and mark the best responses. Mind you I haven't started that many discussions because I tend to find it easier to reply. Don't forget to choose a best response this time hehe

I try to given the topic of discussion or question. It depends on how much I know about the topic and what I can answer or voice on the issue.

I try to but I am in no hurry I want to savor the responces first. I want to give all my friends a chance to answer.

Sometimes I also forget so your not the only one. I would make a discussion and sometimes people won't post a few hours or days later. I would soon forget while I'm making replies to other discussions. Sometimes I would remember and go back to my old discussions to rate people and leave side comments to their responses. It helps keep the discussion going believe it or not.

No I don't forget to give BR. I don't start a lot of topics anyway, I'm better at responding. Some discussions I just left it open longer just so I can get more response and so I can pick BR among more than just 2 responses. Sometimes I can pick BR right away but this is quite rare happening to my topics.
