Here again we have experianced the lose and hurt of our children. A guy went into a Tec here in Va and shot some kids. This is such a sad thing and i as a parent are frightened to send my kids to school. This is a thing thats happening more often. How can we as parents protect our loved ones from such harm?

it's so hard to understand why someone does this! it's so sad! they said there r warning signs, we should just be aware of these signs and teach our kids to be there for one another and not make fun and include everyone and not make them feel left out. this person was said to be depressed and a "loner", no one should feel like a "loner". it's a scary thought especially when u have kids in school and just hope and pray God watches over them.

yes, this is so true, but i think sometimes our kids try but there is only so much tey can do. if someone does not want to have help, then what more can you do. i too pray every morning when all the kids from the neigbourhood catch the bus that they will have a great day and come home safe.

We can't and it is scary. It was a very sad day for the people there. It is getting dangerous to do anything anymore. You just want everyone with you all the time.

Yes I heard this over our news on the radio it was shocking the worst shooting in the U.S.A. as there are 33 children that were shot and 15 other children that were hurt trying to escape by jumping out the windows of the school. I do not think that you can protect them not unless the law is changed in America I am afraid even though I live in Australia for the children as I do have nephews and nieces that go to school in America.
