I don't think it is silly to buy branded things as long as you can realistically afford it. I buy some items branded and other things not. I'll buy most food items as branded. Most of my clothes are unbranded as I generally don't see the point in paying a higher price just for a name on a tag. All of my "dress shoes" (excluding boots) are branded (Diana Ferrari) as everything else I've ever worn has torn my feet up into a complete mess, for some reason her shoes don't seem too.

definitely not!
i too, would like and prefer branded items. lol.
as long as we can afford it and we don't steal it, then i think it's ok.
although getting branded items will be unjustifiable if you make it a priority over other things such as food, house expenses and bills.. you get what i mean?
so yeah, it's never silly to go for the branded things.

I think it is okay to purchase branded stuffs if you can afford it but if not, it is silly.
I also like branded stuffs... I keep on buying those stuffs as long as I know that I can afford it.

If you can afford to buy the branded stuff then I see nothing wrong with it. Due to our budget crunch i hardly ever buy name brands unless they are on sale. The one thing I have to buy name brand is soup. I must have Campbells.

It's definitely OK and I don't think it's silly. As long as you can afford it, it's perfectly fine. I never own anything branded because I don't have the money for it, but I do read their new release every season and I admit that some of them look very NICE!
I think if you don't get yourself trouble in debts by buying branded items, it's perfectly fine. Just a different life style!
