Before I hardly had any savings but, since almost 2 years before getting married I started saving money. I never used to save money before. I never had a good bank balance. I used to go out with friends to movies, almost 5 movies a week. Going on adventure recking and joy rides. I was a total spendthrift. But, now I have a lot of savings. And I save a lot of money and have invested in many good yielding "Mutual Funds" and "Insurance Funds". I prefer the "Systematic Investment Plans" coz that makes you save for certain. I think everyone should be saving money for tomorrow. We are not sure what tomorrow holds for us. Do you think the same. Do you save for tomorrow ? or are you the carefree types ?

It is always wise to save some money, out of your present earnings, for your future use. You might not know what immediate need appear for you in future. Hence it is always wise to keep something up your sleeves for the future.

It used to be quite difficult to save while my children were growing up but since they are all married now I have a little more money to save. I save quite a large sum every month towards my pension as I would like to have the same quality of life after I retire. I also save a little every month just for a few holidays and luxeries which I couldn't have while my children were living with me.

I don't have enough money to live on so I don't have any money to save, there isn't enough money to go around for me. If ever I have more money I will save, I believe in it. But I can't even pay ever bill each month. But I just sold another story of mine and I made 150.00 for that one story.

I grew up in a family where saving was important and I began saving as a teenager when I opened my first bank account. Every year we put money into our IRA accounts and have numerous funds for home improvements and such as well as college funds. I don't think I could sleep at night if we didn't save.

That has happened because you are still very young. You may start mapping out a strategy now in order to enable you to save even a very little amount each payday, $5 is fine enough. It will become a habit later on and you will be surprised at the amount it will come to after awhile.

I have a habit of saving money since as a child. Money however, always finds a good reason to leave my hands. But still I kept on saving. At the time when I was already married, had 3 kids and been doing fine earning, a very big reason for money to leave me, like water held by my bare hands, sprang forth. This time, my youngest son's health demanded that I use up so much more than what I had saved all in all. No, I do not get discouraged, life is a series of battles anyway and, it shall always be.
