personally, i do not think the personality can be changed. but i think we can control it sometimes. even though, it need much persistance and willing power to change it if you find it is not good. for example, if you are hot-tempered, you can try your best not to lose temper in a special situation, right? but that does not mean your personality is changed, just controlled.
