I went to two different optomistrits this week, and they both say that I should get multifocal glasses. I am only 46! I don't like that you see only out of a small part of the glasses for distance, and for near only a small part. The sides are not used at all. Does this mean that you don't really move your eyes side to side? Do the eyes get tired from all the different types of strengths? What ...

How many of you teachers and students like it when the teacher uses a microphone in the classroom? I'm thinking of getting a small system that can be worn around the waist. Does it help the students concentrate? Or, does it make the teacher seem like less confident that her/his voice doesn't carry enough to the last row of the classroom? I'm preparing for next year teaching in Junior High.

My husband is a workaholic! Well, he has a part time job as a nurse, giving immunizations for 5 hours a day. Then he comes home and works on the Internet trying to sell his CD for the rest of the day. NOt only 2 hours, but almost every waking moment when someone else is not on the computer he is in front of it. It has taken my family life away? What do you think?

Well, in Israel we are at NIS 7 per liter. Multiply by 4 liters about? to the gallon, 28 NIS per gallon, and then divide by 4.40 or so and we pay about $7.00 a gallon. So, I always think twice before driving.

How do you know when the medications are working? My husbnad still "blows up" at the littlest thing! I made some dinner tonight and it was undercooked because he kept nagging me to have it on the table. Go figure!

WEll, I'm going for yet another opinion next week. Today I was in a class, and I was sitting not to close to the board and I was able to read with the computer glasses. Right now I'm typing with no glasses! HOw long have you dan the trifocals?

Thank you for your comment. What subject did you teach? What type of school? Do you think that it might cause resentment from other teachers? Should I speak to the principal about it? What might be the reaction?
