I've had a female ob-gyne for the past 4 years and I wouldn't want it any other way. Like the others, I would not be comfortable with a male gyne. I mean, I can't imagine a guy other than my husband touching or probing my private part.:-)

My daughter has a nanny who stays with us 6 days a week and is left to take care of my daughter when my husband and I are at the office. I trust her fully and she has gained my trust. She really takes care of my daughter and I can even see that she cares for her. But even if I trust her, I make it a point to call our house 2-3 times a day to check on my baby. If you really are having doubts...
