redkathy responded to a discussion called do you find the way that sci-fi portrays the future depressing? in watching movies.
I think it's funny how they always blame the government or big corporations for every disaster. I look at it as what it is science fiction, not science fact. So in answer to your question, while I agree they present a bleak outlook on the future, no I don't find it depressing.

redkathy responded to a discussion called Do you think before talk? in life.
I disagree that thinking before speaking one will be lying. The idea of collecting your thoughts before you speak is a good idea. Thinking first gives us the ability to convey thoughts in a clear and organized manner, leaving little room to be misunderstood. Many times people misunderstand what we are saying and I believe misunderstanding is the prime cause of arguments.

redkathy responded to a discussion called Tears and smile, two integral parts of the life. Who accompanies you more? in life.
Definitely smiles. I believe life is what you make of it. If one smiles and takes the bad things in stride, as much as possible, then life is mostly smiles![em]happy[/em] On the other hand if one always looks to the bad, is easily angered, life wlll bring many tears.[em]sad[/em]

redkathy responded to a discussion called What is ur favorite FISH/SEAFOOD to eat, and how do you like to prepare/eat it? in eating.
My favorite seafood is bay scallops. I prepare them broiled and in various pasta dishes. They are great served in an Alfredo sauce over linguine. They are so versatile with pasta. Any type of tomato sauce combined with other seafood, served over pasta will make a fabulous meal. By adding a loaf of crusty bread and a nice fresh salad one has a full coarse Italian meal without being a gourmet chef!

redkathy responded to a discussion called Are you a fool? in people.

I don't know if going the extra mile is the way i would classify getting to know someone. Personally I tend to talk with people that I come in contact with on a daily basis. That of course will depend on how eager they are to share information about themselves. Some people will always small talk yet never tell you anything personal. That is why I say going the extra mile doesn't always apply wh...

redkathy responded to a discussion called dream: do you guys dream everyday? in people.

I almost never dream. I am a very heavy sleeper. It is only when I am woken and then fall back to sleep that I might have a dream. This too is very rare.

redkathy responded to a discussion called LOL---And Here I Thought I Was Making a New Recipe in cooking.
I always cook, adding my own personal touch. To me, that is my rendition of an old recipe, however adaptations make things into something new. I would say that while you didn't "invent" chicken cacciatore this combination is your original recipe. In fact, it is quite different then a traditional cacciatore in that the chicken is not usually boneless, for one. You should name it, and publicize i...

Try blogging. Those PTC and PTR sites come and go so quickly that one never knows if they will be paid for their efforts or not. With blogging one can spend as much time writing and promoting hen earn money by advertising with reputable sites.[em]thumbup[/em]

I couldn't have said it better myself! You ar, in my opinion, absolutely correct. I also think that our so called President has further ruined our image in many places around the world.[em]angry[/em]
