I have been a stringer for a while and I do like the program. I have made a bit of money but haven't thrown myself into the program wholly in order to make the most the program has to offer. I work everyday and have very little time to spare but I still manage a small earning each month.
My youngest is working towards moving out on her own, so maybe I will have more time to devote to my onl... |

There have been a few times I could have used some assistance but was denied because of my military affiliation so I do not really know how the system operates. I noticed that a lot of people getting help when I applied seemed to know the system inside and out and were 2nd, 3rd, etc. generation recipients.
I was advised by a school counselor to become a stay-at-home mom in order to qualify ... |

 | roberten responded to a discussion called What has getting older done to you? in life. 4 weeks ago
Getting older has given me the ability to take things in stride. I do have more aches and pains, swelling of the feet, etc., but for the most part I feel well. I have also gained a sense of relief because all my kids are finally grown and can care for themselves; I have no worries of what will become of them if I die.
I have a greater sense of joy and contentment that only growing older can ... |

I am a dog lover but am totally disgusted by this action (or maybe I should say lack of action). If you are walking a dog out in the country in the woods where there is no people traffic I am okay with letting nature take its course; but in the city you gotta clean it up. All the signs and binds are great but there need to be cameras too. When violaters are caught on tape their pictures should ... |

Small world, the army took me there too. My late husband was 2nd generation german-american but never actually visited Germany. My youngest daughter was born there. The food is terrific and the scenery is even better. I do not speak deutsch much anymore but I have fond memories to cling to.
I am originally from Florida and have considered moving back since I'm from a military town and can b... |

I have to admit that I am a little excessive: towels have to be staked in accordance to size, color and pattern; but it works for me. I need order. Even my messes have order. "Everything has a place, and everything in its place" are beautiful words. I admit to being a bit complusive, but what is life without order? LOL! I take great comfort in knowing that others are prone to order too.[em]hap... |
 | roberten received a best response in the discussion 3,900 stimulus checks went to prison inmates? by debrakcarey. 7 days ago If they are legally entitled to the money they should receive it. I am not keen on the idea, but the law is the law. Depriving an inmate of his or her just rewards is criminal in itself and will relegate one to the same level as the person who is incarcerated. If they can be awared lottery winnings, they should be allowed to received valid and qualifying stimulus checks. So sad, but true; who s... |
