Hi. I highly recommend Ulead VideoStudio. It's very user-friendly . The interface is similar to Windows movie maker but it has more effects and features so your video will seem 'professionally made'.

A lot of people I know use Acer. I haven't. My preferred brands are Dell, Gateway and HP. Ive tried them all (laptop) and I love them. Value for money is important when I choose a brand and their products are worth every penny. In my purchases, I try to compare a model in each brand and I choose from there.

Thanks for this info. I appreciate it. I'm considering the models you suggested. I guess investing on the lenses is just as important (if not more). Yes, that's one of the things I like about the 5DMarkII.
