| it is im my humble opinion that the movie roots did a great injustice to the undeveloped minds of me,black America and the western world.Every february the drums of this watered downs truggle ring out across the t.v reminding us of our struggle to be equal to the blackman's child. This springs the memory of what selassie I said about democracy,he said democracy will be helpful to many but in the end democracy is a mistake. We can touch that up in a later time.Hiperthetical speaking it's ok,but why should we get just 28 days, and it so cold rasta them days we don,t even recognise anything else but valentines. All of us are kings and queens in the words of Marco Polo.there was a great movement going on in America from the early 500s to the late nineties to strip the black man of all culture, language and idiology and it was a success we confess.we were not even regarded as human beigns until the 1970s regardless of what anybody or book says.Don,t even crucify senator biden for his comments it's my belief that thats the way he,s admitting that we are human beigns and one of us came along way.when i look at roots i get the feeling that our creation began with us as slaves and we should be very greatful for the white man.please don,t misnderstand me i can see that the white man has done great things just as or almost comparible to the ancient egyptians, those who have eyes can see.but the africans including them egyptians have a beautiful and glorious past as well with slavery been a small part.Alex haley have my respect BIGTIME but that movie hurt us and that is why i think it is been played so religiously every february by every t.v station.Mr Haley i wish u went back a little further to places like timbuctoo but because we respect u so much is why it hurts when i see your movie. They are using that movie to drill inferiority into our minds, just another extension of the 500 hundred year crusade.
kings and queens i might be wrong but i would like your view......holla at DEBINGHI |
