sdgilbreath I prefer to open a new tab. I hate websites that open new windows. I feel it crowds my screen. I love the tab. I usually let it open in the current window unless I'm going to open many links from one page then I use tabs.

sdgilbreath I have a Dell with a P3 996 Mhz. It has 256 megs of ram. The hard drive is a mere 10 gigs. LOL This is actually my kids computer but it is the one I am on now. (my specs aren't much better) It has windows XP Pro. SP 3

sdgilbreath I use Avast! I like it because it is free. I have not noticed any slowdowns. I have tried AVG but just did not like the layout as much. I install this on all the computer I work on (mainly family members.
