what I feel is, most men are shy to be romantic. They think it does not look good on their personality. But, I think at least they should be so when they are alone with their loved ones. On the other hand, when men try to be more romantic among women, they tend to get labeled as "ladies' men". So be careful not to overdo it. Just a tint of romance would do the trick.
