If you are a gardener like me, you've probably spent the first half of this fall composting. I could never get the complete answer on this. Should I cover my compost pile in winter? I never did before and it seems fine,but some people tell me I should. Anyone know for sure? I would appreciate any advice I get on this or the topic in general.Thanks much!!!

I read quite often. Although the internet is fine, I can't get rid of the feeling that I am staring at a machine. I find that I can get lost in a book easier and more comfortably,and the images I develop in my mind as I follow the story are much clearer to me. Thank you. I've always had good flowers and vegetables,so I didn't think it really mattered. I really appreciate the advice from someone who probably knows a little more than I do on the subject. I guess everyone has thier own methods.

Good response! I have similar problem,only it seems I get asked the same question a hundred times a day. Elderly people can be understood, but this person is nowhere near that! I guess it's another human flaw that we put up with because it's in us too.
