For me it depends on the situation.If I had made the mistake and was wrong I do go and apologize but otherwise I almost never do it.

That is good. I am in college now an it is like very boring.We have near to zero extra-curricular activities and nothing else to give us a break from studies for a while.I really miss my school a lot for this reason.
