 I'm not retired but I still have to stick to a budget when I go shopping. I wish I could take advantage of meats when they are on sale. I would like to stock up my freezer with meat because it's an expensive item and I usually only buy it when it is on sale. I did go to Aldi and bought a couple bags of chicken the other day.  I'm sorry. I hope you find another place to live quickly and that you get his truck fixed soon. Maybe you can make a lot from the garage sales to help you. I've never had to go through this so I can't say I know how you feel but I hope everything works out for you guys.
