I celebrated my birthday on Feb 13 with my family and plan to do exactly the same on the 14th! In addition to celebrating together, we might also call my 20 year old daughter, who is studying in far away Melbourne, Australia. Thanks to Skype we are able to call her and it is free of charge too!

I think Valentin's Day is overrated. It seems to be just a way to increase business, which just makes business people happy, but not your people really! Just be happy with having friends, whether they are from school, university, or work. Treasure them and I don't mean just by giving presents, but listen to them and spend good quality time with them!

I had two kids (one is now 20 and the other 19). I always looked after them when they were small and they only started kindergarten when they were 3.5 years old. I was lucky to be able to look after them, but then again I can understand other young mothers, who need to go to work to earn some money, or because of their careers, so I try not to judge them too negatively!

Yes, I have also ruined some nice pots and frying pans and even turned them all black. The way I solve the problem is to boil some vinegar in them for half an hour or so and they try to clean them. If the burned parts have not disappeared, I repeat the treatment once again and most times I end up with new (OK, nearly new) pan again! Good luck! I also saw a small part of Kevin Costner's remarks and I agree with you, that she seems to have been well liked by people from all over the world. I don't think the stigma has lessened, as people these days are more conscious of the problems that increased weight can bring. Something similar to smoking!
