I wasn't fired, but my contract wasn't extended after the probation period. They wanted someone with a lot of confidence and I was shy. There was no point in asking for another chance. Both are important. Working against your boss is a bad choice for your career. Working against colleague robs you of support and help they could give you. I believe in being honest. I stand by whoever I believe is right and try to find compromises that work for all. Generally speaking I am respected for it. |

I might be selfish, but no, I wouldn't. I am very careful who I give money to. I have some very old and good friends I'd trust with my life. I would lend them money if they'd need it and I can afford to.
But I know a friend who gave money to friends several time - she couldn't afford it. She never got it back. She lost friends. |

The honest answer is: both. I am a capable career woman myself. I love my career, love being successful, love proving myself.
