My heart goes out to you and her family. I am in Oklahoma and the H1N1 virus is widespread. My children have friends who have had it but have recovered. I personally don't know anyone who has had it.

I don't decorate as much as I used to. For the last 3 years we have been going on vacation to Mexico during Christmas to visit and celebrate with the in-laws. I'll put up the tree and thats about it now. Before I decorated inside and out as well as put a bow on my car.[em]happy[/em]

I am proud of my son. He has been struggling in school for three years. He was even held back last year. Now he is making A's and B's and is really giving it his all. I am also proud of my grandmother a recent leg amputee at age 90, despite having one leg and being at her age still does everything for herself. She doesn't give up.

If the leftovers are something we really like we will save it for leftover night. If the meal wasn't a big hit we feed it to our dog and cat. Not saying the food is only good for our pets (I am a pretty decent cook)but if no one in the house is going to eat it again, the animals get it and that makes them very happy to get "people" food..LOL

She is absolutely horrible! How can a mother do that to her very own children???? I feel so terribly sad that those children had to go through that! I wonder how bad their life has been other than the 24 hour binge. I do hope she gets some help with her drug and alcohol problem! Maybe she will be a better mother if she is clean. I don't wish for those children to be placed back with her tho...

I have never donated blood. I'm not scared of needles or have any type of medical reason to not do it. I have no idea why I don't. Now I've got to think about why I haven't since it helps 3 people because whole blood can be processed into red cells, platelets, plasma and something else but I can't remember its name.
