hey there! i'm curious, what brand of memory cards do you use? i used so far sandisk and lexar, but i will NEVER EVER use lexar. Why? well, i went to the mountain side, and after a hiking trip of about 6 hours to the mountain top and 5 hours back in town and about 200-300 images taken, my lexar memory card died. and i mean DIED! couldn't retrieve the data at all. tried a lot of data rescue sof...

lol... the d90 is: newer technology, faster autofocus, better iso, higher iso, live view, that 3inch 920.000k monitor which is mind-blowing and all that other junk for the market (video feature, retouching menu). Oh, and 2mp more... i have a d90 and i can say it's an awesome camera. i upgraded from a d70. wished i got a d80 last year, instead of a d70, but couldn't afford one...so, i can't ma...

well, i didn't dropped mine. and it wasn't old. i was quite new, meaning it was purchased about 1 month before it failed me. i am quite careful with my gear.

i see that a bunch of people use kingston. hm... in my nikon manual, kingston is not an approved brand, and one could lose the warranty for the camera for using kingston memory card. that is stupid. i have a kingston miniSD card which i used with an SDadapter for about 4 years. never failed me. as for the data backup...well, i am really really really considering gettin' a ... mobile hdd thinggi...

thanks, but i don't quite have stock photos. plus i know that stock photography websites ask for passport information, and i don't have a passport (don't need one).

well, first, seems like i don't know a thing about stock photography. lol. And second, i did try signing up for a stock photo website, and they asked for a passport scan. they said that my id scan was insuficient for data... uhm, and never tried it again.
