I am trying to get my freelance career off the ground and I heard about this site called Demand Studios today. Apparently they pair you up with editors and publishers that need material, and you are paid decently per project. Have any writers out there heard of this or used it before? I don't want to give them any personal information until I know they're legitimate!

I LOVE to eat! I actually have trouble keeping myself from eating throughout the day. I snack constantly and enjoy every meal. I should probably be much heavier than I am, but knock on wood that my metabolism keeps up with my habits!

I pray for others when they are going through a tough time, or for strangers in the news or in accidents that I see. I probably should pray more, and pray for more people, but it usually takes a certain amount of bad news or tragedy to remind me that myself and others need God's help and guidance.

I use just about anything to cut my nails! I often like to pick at them, but use nail clippers and files when I'm feeling proper. Sometimes I bite them, or if I have a hangnail and am really desperate, I'll use scissors. It's interesting you bring up this topic today, as I had been growing out my nails and two of them broke this afternoon! So frustrating!

I'm actually having this same problem right now. I usually try to find a coffee shop or a favorite cozy spot and hang out with my laptop and headphone and turn on some favorite inspirational tunes. Write whatever you feel either on paper or on the computer, and after a while it usually helps me get my thoughts organized and back to a writing frame of mind again. Good luck!

No, I don't thin the world will end in 2012. I think that it is just another scare tactic like was used in 2000 with the whole Y2K fiasco. It's definitely an interesting theory that the Mayans had, but I think we're safe to make it through til 2013.
