tp3144 I have a Cocker Spaniel, and when she does come in the car with me, she is trained to stay off of me. She can sit next to me, but she's not allowed to be on my lap or hindering my driving at all.

tp3144 My dog sleeps in our room, but she's in a crate next to my bed. She just cannot be trusted to roam free, and I wouldn't get any rest. She doesn't know any different, so it works for all of us.

tp3144 I think I would encourage the girl to take parenting/child care classes. If that didn't work, I would consider getting custody of the baby. If she cannot or will not change what she's doing, I would think the baby would be in danger.

Everyone has their vices. You know it's bad and you shouldn't do it, but you just don't care. For me, coffee is my vice and chocolate. Sometimes I even put chocolate in my coffee! So what about you? What's your vice?

tp3144 Definitely coffee and chocolate. Chocolate gives me severe headaches, and I still don't stop...I just take Advil with my chocolate! I know I'm going to have to stop at some point, I'm just not there yet.

Where does your dog sleep?

I keep mine in a house, though we have a large yard. In the summer time she is sleeping mostly on the terrace, but in these cold days she is mostly in my bed :}

tp3144 Our little dog sleeps in her crate right next to my bed. Our bigger dog used to sleep in the house, wherever he chose, but now he sleeps in the garage- unless it's too cold, then we'll let him sleep in the house.

tp3144 I totally agree, people should always pick up after their dogs. I live in a house, but whenever I have my dog out on walks or out with me in general, I always carry poop bags. I feel it's just the right thing to do as a pet owner.
