Just like the previous poster said .. it may happen by virus, spywares, worm or trojan that is infected your system. Try to look on the task manager on what process that consume a lot of resources. I think it OK if you put both of them on the same site (same domain) ... But do not put them on the SAME PAGE of your site. It is true that adsense policy do not want their ads published in the same page with other advertiser networks.
