 I used to use a coffee can. Now I have one of those nifty counter jars! It cost about $10, I think. Now I know how much I have in it! Granted, it's nice to have a 'secret' amount...also helps to keep you from spending it, if you're not sure how much is in there anyway. However, the counter might be even better for that, because if I took any out, I'd have to put the rest in all over again to ge... |

I'm 31, and still live with my dad. We help each other out. He's 75 years old, but healthier than me. So he takes care of me with my medical issues, and I try to return the favor with whatever I can. I give him $100 a month, to help pay the heating bill (I live in the basement, so crank up the furnace a lot in the winter!).  As with all internet things, be cautious when you make an account. Facebook does ask for your real name - this is so that people can find you.  Technically, if you practice proper sanitary habits, even pregnant women can handle cats and scoop their littler boxes.
Wash your hands IMMEDIATELY after handling waste. Do not touch anything between box and sink...in fact, it would be even better to just wear disposable gloves. Then you wouldn't have to wipe off the faucet handles with soap, from having touched them with your hands to turn on... |

 I do like fruit a lot, and usually can consider a fruit-dish as dessert. My favorite 'treat' fruits are strawberries, blackberries, mangos, pears, plums, nectarines, red grapes, watermelon, cantelope, honey dew melon, cherries, passion fruit, papaya, and probably a few others I can't think of right now. Pineapple is good when it's been grilled with a brown sugar glaze.

 I'm not really a dog person, so have a cat. But she might as well be a dog! When she was younger (and more spry without arthritis), she would chase her own tail in circles.
She would be waiting at the door for me, when I got home from work... well, sort of. If I got home between 5-6, anyway. I guess she got bored/impatient/mad at about 6, and be off doing something else if I was late! LOL |
